Breathe. I tell myself each day. Funny, though because you would think that breathing is something you do naturally and serves to require no reminder.
In…………………..through the nose and Out…………… through the mouth.
Trust me - I need it.
We all do. Sometimes we forget to consider things with a little perspective. What we see at the moment and what we feel seems to upstage every other thing. We think we want to get in our cars and drive…just keep driving until we get somewhere…anywhere - just not here. Sometimes we wanna scream, at the top of our lungs, until our voices get raw. Sometimes, we feel so overwhelmed that we just dont know what to do anymore. Have you ever been sitting at your desk, with SO many things to do, that you just dont know where to start? Or had so many things you wanted to accomplish - that you didn’t know where to begin? or even how?It is so normal to feel like this. Like a MOMMY WHO DRINKS.
In the BLINK of an eye - you can change your perspective. You can change your world and transcend. That’s all it takes.
You dont have to yell at the moron in front of you, cause after all, he needs to be free to be a moron. riight?
You dont need to get mad or upset at the ignorant girl who has no love for herself.
You dont need to get frustrated at the guy who is so focused, but just on the wrong thing.
These people turn to you for a reason. They ask you for advice for a reason. They share their lives with you … for a reason.
It’s because you always remember to breathe. You know, that in through your nose and out through your mouth is your mantra.
In through your nose…
there are lots of things that you can take in through your nose. You take in your environment, your surroundings, your thoughts, your hopes, your fears, your unnecessary overly critical obscenely unrealistic ideas, all of them. In. Through your nose.
By the time you take it all the way in through your nose and try to get it to come out of your mouth - it has to swirl around in your head and hopefully by the time it gets to the point where it comes out of your mouth - it’s good.
In through your nose - out through your mouth.
Oh so many connotations… =)
anyhow - ladies and germs - i am gonna end this one on a lighter note.
but definitely always remember - in through your nose and out through your mouth. Have some faith in yourself and take a moment to think before you react. Who cares if that idiot is making you miss the light and you’re late for work? You shouldn’t. You’re late…what is one more minute or even five? Take that moment and remember to breathe.
